Walter CLARK — Remembered in Canterbury Cemetery, Kent
Information provided by the Western Front Association explains that Walter was transferred from the Essex Regiment to the Labour Corps (No. 255535), almost certainly downgraded due to ill health/wounds. He died in the UK after the war, on 22nd February 1919, possibly from influenza or pneumonia in his weakened state.
